We are a 14 piece Glenn Miller style big band playing music made famous by Glenn Miller himself along with music from the rat pack, Count Basie and Ella Fitzgerald to name a few. We formed in 2004 and have played at charity concerts, fund raising events, wedding receptions and various dinners.We have our own full PA system and can provide background music between sets. In January 2015 the band changed dramatically as several players decided that they wanted to leave and form their own group. Within 2 weeks these players were replaced and The Nightflyers began rehearsals with the present line up of players. During this 1st year the Nightflyers played at several 40's nights and functions including a wedding reception and summer ball. |
