" Dear Nightflyers
I wanted to say again what a great evening we had last night. People have been full of it at church and some of the older people talked about the memories it had recreated for them. Other people talked about the professionalism of the band and others just kept saying what a good time they’d had.
Not only did you provide us with a good night you also helped us raise a staggering two thousand four hundred pounds. That’s better than ever before and it will make a massive difference to the lives of some very poor people.
Please pass on our gratitude to everyone and let’s do it again some time .
Best wishes.

“On behalf of the Oxnop Singers, I would once again like to thank you very much for performing at our concert on 7 October 2018. We have had such great feedback from our audience and all our Singers. Everyone really enjoyed your performance. The charity we supported on the night was British Heart Foundation and we raised well over what we expected to!
We would be delighted to invite you back at a date in the future.”

"Just to say a massive thanks to you all for last night- it was just amazing!
We've had super feedback about the band. It looks like we have raised over £2000 which is a record for us. It will really help towards all the work we do in the villages of Funzi and Bodo. Please pass our gratitude on to all the team."

" The Nightflyers were the perfect compliment to the vintage feel of the 'Back to the Blitz Party' in Ripley last night and created a fantastic ambiance which tied in perfectly with the 1940s décor. Looking around the hall, one felt transported to another age, and when the band struck up it was as if Glenn Miller and his band had entered the room! Truly a superb evening , and a *superb* band. Quite probably the best live jazz band in the North".

"Of all the bands set to acquire exalted stature in the story of British jazz, the Night Flyers have to be one of the most exciting. Their sound is equal parts smooth and electrifying; as deep and soulful as it is light and effervescent. Their pitch perfect swing recreates the elegant sound of the forties flawlessly. In fact, when they play In the mood, it’s like listening to the Bluebird Records original. And this band is versatile. If you want 60s pop, they’ve got a version of Can’t take my eyes off of you to fall in love to. Their vocalist Susie adds a whole new dimension. Between the staccato trumpets and the hooky sax riffs her voice shimmers in the best version of 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy' you are ever likely to hear, and when she sings Summertime you’ll feel the heat of the South Carolina sun shining down on you with every beat. For anyone who’s ever wanted to dance all night this gifted outfit have got the sound to sweep you off your feet."

"The Nightflyers played a double set at our recent 'Back to the Blitz' charity event and were truly superb. The atmosphere they created was sublime and the dance floor was full all evening! Every single member of the band is a *first class* musician and listening to them is pure joy. We couldn't have been happier with their performance and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to book a class act for their event".
